ABOUT THIS SERVICE

Privacy & query handling

DNS queries leave the browser to reach the resolver you choose.

Information sent to a resolver

When you submit a query, the requested DNS name, type and ordinary connection information are sent to the selected Google or Cloudflare HTTPS endpoint. This also applies to dependency queries made by the configuration checkers.

A pasted website URL is reduced to its hostname; its path is not fetched. Query names are not placed in canonical links, sitemaps or page-sharing metadata. Do not query names or TXT values that you are not comfortable sending to that resolver.

Browser state and exports

Inputs and responses are held in page memory during the current interaction. There is no account, public history or application database. Copying and downloading create artifacts on your device under your browser’s own controls.

This does not promise that your browser, operating system, network provider or selected DNS resolver retains nothing. Their policies and settings apply separately.

Third-party services and launch review

Resolver policies: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/privacy and https://developers.cloudflare.com/1.1.1.1/privacy/public-dns-resolver/. Check the provider’s current terms before relying on its service.

Google Analytics 4 measures visits, pages and basic browser/device information on the production domain. Google may use cookies and ordinary connection information; its privacy policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy. DNS query inputs and results are not sent to Analytics, and page URL queries and fragments are excluded from page-view events. Advertising features and enhanced interaction measurement are disabled. This does not promise anonymous processing or a particular retention period.
